In the beginning moments of grief, when I had no idea how to cope, I formed some expression with what I have known since birth...clay.
Crying in silence mixing the clay with my tears thinking about baby Amato, creating angels, mixing shapes, thinking of more shapes...carrying images of my baby forever imprinted as visions of angels embracing the sorrow and memories.
The color of the collection identifies with my grieving and the life images I envisioned.
A special thanks to Laurie Spencer and Daniel Cajamarca for the studio time and all the loving support.
